First Visit:
Prior to your dog’s first walk, I will pay a visit to your home and offer a free of charge consultation. This is so I can meet you and your dog and answer any questions you may have. On their first walk I always take them out by themselves. This allows me to spend some one-on-one time with your dog, so they can become comfortable around me and I can assess their behaviour.
Our Walks:
During our walks, your dog will be picked up from your home and transported in a secure and climate-controlled vehicle. We will have adventures in country parks, forests and wooded areas, ensuring we change locations regularly to keep it exciting for them; they can enjoy all the new smells. On their walk, they will have time to sniff, play, explore the outdoors and maybe get a treat or two in the process. This will leave them being physically tired, mentally stimulated and satisfied for the rest of the day.
Coming Home:
When their walk is finished, I'll drop them back home and ensure their harness/collar is removed and lock up on my way out. If it's raining, your dog’s paws and tail will be washed and towel dried before they come home (no-one needs a dirty carpet). If it's a warmer day, your dogs will have water on their walks and I will ensure your dog has fresh cool water in their bowl before I leave.
Single or group walks:
Dogs are naturally social creatures, and our group walks enables your furry-friend to spend time as a pack (plus the opportunity for bum-sniffs). To make sure your dog is getting the attention they require, my group walks will have a maximum of four dogs per walk.
For the older, anxious or slightly more reactive dogs I also offer solo walks. This is a walk where it will just be me and your dog, this allows us to have some one-on-one time. We’ll take the walk at their pace, giving some extra treats and stokes to ensure they stay happy, calm and content.
